This is a sponsored post with Mums the Word Network and Amwell. All opinions are my own.

We have always had high deductible health insurance. It stinks really. If you can find a new way to do healthcare that is cheaper than going to the doctor why not do it? I can use AmWell and pay half the price of a regular doctor’s visit. That’s a win in my book. We get to talk with certified doctors and they can write prescriptions and take care of you.

It was really easy to try it out. First I went to the AmWell website. From there I went through a small series of steps that it walks you through to make sure my computer would work with their software so we could “talk” to their doctor. It works a lot like facetime or skype.

Then you pick your provider and have a face to face conversation with them via your computer or your phone. They make it so easy for you. I will be using this service again. It was simple and I didn’t have to leave my home. The kids love that when they’re sick they can stay home and we can see a doctor. It’s a win in my book. Still curious? Check out the video below!

Have you ever tried Amwell? Would you try them and use them for your next doctor’s visit? My readers get quite a discount when using AmWell. Use code LOVEAMWELL30. This gives you $30 off your visit making your visit only $19! Who can visit a doctor for as little as $19? Let me know what you think of them when you use them. I’m a huge fan now! For our next sick visit I will simply pull out my laptop or phone and use it to get AmWell, get a diagnosis and never leave my home!

I think this is so great. I hate going to the doctor, and so do my husband and son!

This sounds like a great service. I know I’d much rather connect with a doctor from my home than go into an office.

It’s nice to know that we have this kind of service. It’s so hard to go out when you have two little kiddos in tow.

This is really handy. I think it’s such a good idea for busy people who can’t always stop and drop everything to run to wait at the doctors office for hours on end. Its great!

This maybe an option for me because I am looking for a new doctor and so is my son. It is an awesome convenience to just go on line instead of getting ready and waiting in an office. Thanks for sharing,

I’m all for a $19 visit to the doctor. I hate waiting around in the waiting room with sick people, so this would be perfect for me.

I would definitely use this service if I had to. I think it would come in handy when you don’t think a regular doc visit in the office or trip to the emergency room is necessary.
