DIY Pool Noodle Summer Wreath

DIY Pool Noodle wreath

Well, it’s 90 degrees before 10 am which can only mean one thing, summer in TN has started ya’ll! After the cold winter we had ( and some late season ice, yuck!) I am very thankful for the hot summer days ahead. Well, I say that now anyways, we shall see how I feel come July ha!

Every season I like to change the decoration on my front door, and for summer I thought it would be fun to break out some color and fun! So I hit up the dollar tree and grabbed some stuff to make a cheap, easy, and cute DIY Pool Noodle Summer Wreath! Yes, underneath those leis is a pool noodle. How cool is that right!? Want to make one for yourself? All you need is about $4 and to follow these instructions…

Here is how to make this DIY Pool Noodle Summer Wreath:

Summer Pool Noodle Wreath

You Will Need:

  • A Pool Noodle ($1 from the Dollar Tree! Even better if you already have one laying around at home!)
  • Leis! ( I used 2 6-packs, $1/each from the Dollar Tree)
  • Flip Flops (Child’s sized works best! Also $1 from the Dollar Tree)
  • Clear Tape

First, You will be using your pool noodle and a tape to form your wreath. Make sure you put a good amount of layers of the tape on to help your noodle hold the round shape.

Next, It’s time to start laying leis! What I did was space out the first 6 leis and used the rest to fill them in (I used the clear tape to tape them to the back, I’m all about easy crafts!) . After that I attached the flip flops to the side and hung it up on my door!

How cute and easy was that right!? I’ve had this up for a few days and I’ve had compliments from neighbors, my mailman and delivery drivers! If they only knew how easy and cheap it was, ha!

The wreath is adorable. Can’t wait to make it
There’s a Dollar Tree near by, if they have summer stuff left we will have a wreath on our door tomorrow.
