Eden Juices make it cool to be imperfect.
Meet and Drink Eden juices. They’re an environmentally friendly company that uses imperfect fruit and vegetables to make their cold pressed juice. Why you may ask? Because we throw away so much food that could be used. Why not use it and get rid of only the parts that are blemished. As a society we focus on having perfect bodies but the truth is I bet no one has a perfect body. I know I don’t. I have stretch marks and surgery scars. I mean life happens.
Drink Eden uses the imperfect fruit to make their juices.
Let’s make using all fruit and vegetables a way to go. In the US we throw away about 40% of our food because they’re imperfect. They may have a slight imperfection that makes us not want to use that fruit. But the reality is that this fruit or vegetable has the same vitamins and minerals as the unblemished one. I love that they use it to make their juices.
In honor of Earth Day this Wednesday April, 22 we celebrate Drink Eden’s new campaign. Join us today in funding Eden’s Kickstarter campaign by going to drinkeden.com. Drink Eden. Naturally different. Sounds so amazing!

I often wonder where the blemished fruit goes…it is such a shame because it is true! Why would I grab a blemished one when I can grab one that’s not.
I really like this concept. I’ve never heard of Eden juice before and I’m glad that you shared it! Thanks!! I love me some Juice!!
Ashley
Wow, I haven’t heard of Eden Juices before, but I absolutely love the concept. It is almost awe-inducing to take a look at the statistics of how much food goes to waste in the US when many people in our own country are starving or food insecure. This sounds like a company I would definitely back based on their mission! Will check them out, thank you 🙂

I love cold pressed juices. I make my own at home because I do not like to throw away vegetables and fruits that “Look” bad but still contain most of their nutritional value. I think this product looks excellent. I will have to try them out. Thanks for sharing.
Lara
That’s so cool that they use the imperfect fruit to make their juices. I’ll have to see if they carry any of these in my neck of the woods. I entered your giveaway as well 🙂
Chrissy
This is a great idea. We waste way too much food. I would like to try all of the flavors they have.

omg these juices sound amazing!!! I’m all about juicing these days but making my own just takes up too much time. I’m going to have to look more into these.
Rosey
Wow, that’s a lot of food we’re throwing away. I wish I could say I wasn’t guilty of it, but I most definitely am. I have been taking note though, and deliberately taking steps to do better.

Hoorah! Let’s hear it for the imperfect fruit. I always get so annoyed that people have a hang up on what fruit needs to look like. It still tastes the same! I love this company, they need to come to the UK!
Anna
Using blemished fruits and veggies is a great idea! My local grocery store reduces the cost of patchy fruits and veggies by 30% and I’m beginning to see more and more initiatives like these to avoid having to throw it out.

This sounds like an amazing company – so glad they’re using the stuff that people would throw out. I always try to use my bruised up fruit and veggies in my smoothies.
Adrienne
I tried these once at a conference and they are yummy. They really appeal to the earthy, health conscious person that is a trendsetter. This company does a good job of making environmentally friendly a cool thing. It also doesn’t hurt that the product is actually good, too!
Stephanie of The TipToe Fairy
I think this is awesome. What a great way to use perfectly good fruit, even if it doesn’t look perfect. I love cold pressed juices. I can’t wait to try this!

I have never tried Eden Juices, I have heard of them, though. What a great giveaway, I will have to share this.
