In Disney’s riveting mystery adventure Tomorrowland, a jaded scientist and an optimistic teen embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space. If that doesn’t get you excited to see Tomorrowland in theaters, I don’t know what will. We have been not so patiently counting the days until we can go see Tomorrowland!
From Disney comes two-time Oscar(R) winner Brad Bird’s riveting, mystery adventure Tomorrowland, starring Academy Award(R) winner George Clooney. I must admit, the handsome Mr. Clooney is a big reason for my excitement over Tomorrowland. Clooney plays former boy genius Frank. Frank and Casey, a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity, embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space known only as “Tomorrowland.” What they must do there changes the world–and them–forever.
Featuring a screenplay by “Lost” writer and co-creator Damon Lindelof and Brad Bird, from a story by Lindelof & Bird & Jeff Jensen, Tomorrowland promises to take audiences on a thrill ride of nonstop adventures through new dimensions that have only been dreamed of. Now are you excited? Tomorrowland opens in theaters everywhere on May 22nd! If you’re like us, you need a little something to hold you over until then. Well, here is a brand new trailer from Disney’s Tomorrowland to do the trick!
There is also a special presentation of the film, featuring more than six minutes of footage to be introduced by director Brad Bird, that will screen exclusively in IMAX(R) theaters domestically and in select international markets beginning on May 1. The extended first look of Tomorrowland will screen right before Marvel’s Avengers: Age Of Ultron and will play for the duration of that film’s run in IMAX.
