one day app review

One Day App Review is a fun new way to get to know your children and their friends!

The One Day app is this fun app that has you ask your children questions to get a dialogue going so that others get to know your children a little better. You pick a story set of questions and ask your child. Then the app stitches them together with music and makes a sweet video you can share with friends and family who are near or far. Doesn’t technology in this day and age rock? I love this idea. It will allow family far away to get to know your children.

Check out my questions I asked my daughter! My story was all about school. She seemed to really enjoy having the focus on her for a few minutes. Considering she is number 3 I can see where they’d enjoy this one on one time together.

The question.

The star and her sidekick.

And finally the movie we made! Check it out below.

Thank you One Day app for giving me the app to review with my daughter. She loved it and I will love it being on youtube with all her answers for years to come. There’s many story types to choose from. I hope soon that they will also have optional music to choose from and maybe some way to customize it with emoji’s or adding in thoughts. It’s a great app that you will love to have your children answer the questions and share with family. Thanks One Day App.

Well this app is certainly appropriate for those kids who say the darnedest, wittiest, and most adorable things! It looks like your little girl had fun with it. I will definitely recommend them to my cousins and friends who have toddlers and younger kids because this seems like a really cool app for them to try 🙂

My kiddos are too old for this I think. I”m not sure I like the idea of them sharing videos of themselves. You really have to be careful with all social media anymore. Even with safety features, security can be broken. I’m called a paranoid mother lots of times but it’s true that children are at risk online and off.

What a fun app for the kids!! I love how much you can do with a smart phone now. Looks like your daughter had a blast making it and fun for her to watch later on in life!

Do you know what their server security levels are? I am concerned parents might have the same question, mainly because the video would have to be stored somewhere, whether in the cloud, or on a server. The fear and concern for safety might be an overriding concern. The concept is really great, though, and anything to promote dialogue can only benefit early childhood development.

You upload it to youtube. So whatever settings you set for your family is the security. 🙂

What a cute app for kids! My son isn’t talking age yet, but I definitely want to download this for when he’s older! Thanks for sharing this and thank you for the giveaway!

I like the concept behind this app. It seems like it would be great for both parents and children. My oldest is in school so I will definitely have to check this app out to see how it works for us.

Oh my goodness – I love this idea, too. It sounds like a fantastic way to keep in touch with relatives who live far away. Plus, like you mentioned, you’ll have them as a keepsake for years to come.
