As 2014 comes to a close I’m thankful. I know what bad years feel like. In a span of 4 years I lost my best friend since 3rd grade, my brother and my dad. So as this year draws to a close I’m thankful that no one that I am close to died.
I’m thankful I have a new kitten who brings us joy and makes us laugh every day. I’m thankful for the love of my husband who is a hard working man that loves his family. I’m thankful for my kids who sass me more than they should. That’s okay it just means they’re normal kids! I’m thankful for the roof over my head. I’m thankful I have weight I need to lose because it means I have plenty of food in my house. I’m thankful for money to pay bills even when it’s tight! Until you’ve been through the worst you might not realize how much you have to be thankful for.
I don’t know if I’m making resolutions or if I’m just going to make a list of things I’d like to do better. But I’m thankful that this year has brought us good memories to cherish. What are you thankful for?
Thankful sums up how I feel about 2014, as well. It’s a beautiful perspective. No “resolutions” here, but definitely a list of things I want to do better. 🙂 Have a wonderful 2015 and I look forward to reading more of your blog!!
Thank you Melissa! Hope you have a great 2015 too!
I am thankful for my mom, pets, home and health. I am thankful to God for salvation and endless love! I am wishing you a wonderful and safe New Year. May we all be truly blessed this year!!
