Back when my first born was young we had so little extra money. So on Black Friday when he was almost two I went shopping to take advantage of the sales. I remember the price of these cheap little Disney Toy Story puzzles and Monsters, Inc puzzles. They were .88 each. They had tons. I scored a few of those and put up a few as gifts and I also scored a few Chutes and Ladders and Candyland for 2.88 each as well. Remember we had no money. These made wonderful gifts for me to put up for my kids for Christmas. I was so thankful that year.
Being a young mom with no money isn’t anything too unusual. It was so nice for this big box store to help me out that year. wants to help you out this year with a great giveaway. I’m still trying to decide if I’ll go out on Friday, or just do all of my shopping online. We haven’t come up with full lists of gifts to purchase (and I need to finish those lists by Thursday!)
I haven’t been able to do any shopping outside the home for quite some time, so I stick with online shopping. I haven’t even started yet, yikes!
Candyland and Chutes and Ladders are classics. Glad you were able to get these for such a good price! I tend to forget there are good prices on more than just tvs on Black Friday.

I don’t do Black Friday, but my daughter and her friends do. Last year she scored some high end makeup for fifty percent off.
There are definitely some great deals out there but I’ll be lying in bed on Black Friday, totally avoiding the crowds!

I have never been shopping on Black Friday. We used to actually take the day and enjoy a amusement park that was close to us because it was a lot less crowded on Black Friday!
I’ve always called it snakes and ladders (the difference an ocean makes) I have to admit it used to be one of my favourite games as a kid, when I wasn’t going down those snakes. x
My best Black Friday score last year was a hello kitty bed set that my daughter wanted for only $20, she was SO thrilled!
I don’t do Black Friday in stores. But online is a different story!
I used to do the same when my now-teenage-daughter was little. I was a single mom and didn’t have much to spend at the holidays. Now, there’s no way I’m lining up in the middle of the night for a sale! I’ll do much better Cyber Monday.
These are some great deals. I stay as far away from the stores as I can on Black Friday. I already have a lot of my shopping done.
Black Friday is always a scary day, I sometimes don’t even bother going shopping; I hate the crowds!
I have scaled back on Christmas gifts. I used to buy buy buy because I wanted my son to have tons of gifts to open. But now I just buy what he asks for. He usually only asks for 4 or 5 things anyways!

I can totally understand having a tight budget when it comes to the holidays. I will admit this is one of the most stressful times of the year for me so any sale I can hit up to save a little extra is always welcome! My best Black Friday score was a beautiful wool peacoat from New York and Company a few years back 🙂
I got a fantastic deal one year on an outdoor firepit. I think it was at Walmart. AND, I didn’t even have to go. A friend went and snagged it for me.
