I was given tickets to a free screening of this movie to facilitate the writing of this review. This review is my honest opinion of the movie.
Big Hero 6 Review
Let me just say that we started off to see this movie so excited. Then we drove to the wrong theater. We knew we wouldn’t make it in time. We were going to just head home. They tell us they release our seats 10 minutes prior to the movie starting. It was 21 minutes away according to gps and the movie would have started in 14 minutes. After my son was sniffling in the back seat we decided to just try it. The worst that would happen is they tell us they did give our seats away and there’s no place for us. Then we’d go home. Well my husband did a phenomenal job driving and got us there before the movie started. We were shocked. The lady there is very familiar with me and saved my seats! I couldn’t believe it. My son’s day was made.
Here’s the trailer for Big Hero 6.
Big Hero 6 has such a positive message wrapped in a tragedy.
The movie starts off giving kids a reason to go to college and be a nerd. What a great message. Nerds are good and smart. They are the game changers of this world. Then a tragedy happens that sets us up for not going to college. There’s so much emotion in this movie. I was quite surprised. I wish there wasn’t a tragedy but in life there’s usually a tragedy at some point. There’s something to get through and work though. Going through the tragedy you come out smiling. My kids loved it. My husband enjoyed it. I loved it too. It’s definitely a movie for the family. So take your family there today and enjoy this sweet film. Filled with nerds that save the day! Go nerds!
From Walt Disney Animation Studios, the team behind “Frozen” and “Wreck-It Ralph,” comes “Big Hero 6,” an action-packed comedy-adventure about the special bond that develops between Baymax (voice of Scott Adsit), a plus-sized inflatable robot, and prodigy Hiro Hamada (voice of Ryan Potter). Miller). Determined to uncover the mystery, Hiro transforms his friends into a band of high-tech heroes called “Big Hero 6.” Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring breathtaking action with all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, “Big Hero 6” is directed by Don Hall (“Winnie the Pooh”) and Chris Williams (“Bolt”), and produced by Roy Conli (“Tangled”).
