Pork Burgundy Recipe

I purchased a pork loin from the store the other day. I normally throw it in the crockpot and eat it like bbq or cut it into chops. I wanted a new recipe because I was very tired of the same old recipes. After much googling I found one I could adapt to my own and I did. Let me just say that we fought over eating these left overs. FOUGHT! We fought hard and fast to be the last person to eat this yummy goodness.

Ingredients
  1. pork tenderloin (about 5lbs)
  2. celery stalk
  3. 1/2 onion
  4. red wine (I had merlot so that's what I used) 2 glasses
  5. one gravy packet
  6. garlic powder
  7. salt & pepper
Instructions
  1. put pork tenderloin in pan
  2. salt, pepper and garlic powder the meat
  3. chop onion thinly and add to top and sides
  4. chop celery thinly and add to top and sides
  5. sprinkle gravy packet over top of pork and on sides
  6. pour 2 glasses of wine over the top of the pork loin
  7. Cook until done. I cooked over 1 hour 10 minutes on 350* until internal temp reached 160*. Serve with baked potatoes and salad. This is so good. You will be addicted!

I tend to avoid pork tenderloin because I don’t know what to do with it. This sounds easy and looks tasty so I may have to give it a go!

I’m going to have to try this recipe. I make pork loin quite often but we usually make a garlic and herb or a lemon pepper. This sounds delish.

I love pork, but I’ve never been big on wine. It just doesn’t seem to sit well with me. But this does sound amazing. I’m sure my Hubby would love it.
