A List of Workout videos for the homeNo

My hubby and I are on a diet and exercise regime.  I’ve lost about 8 lbs and he’s lost about 12 lbs. We are working out and doing low carb and it’s working great. We’ve been doing this for about a month and are happy with both the diet and the exercise videos we’ve found online. We do have a gym membership but it’s about to expire. When it expires we have decided we don’t want to renew it. We have youtube so there is no excuse to not exercise. My goal is to tell you every Friday what workouts we did and where you can find them. It is so much easier for him and I to do a 30 minute exercise video then it is to drive to the gym and workout there separately. Does that mean I’m doing videos led by men. Yes. Does it mean he does videos led by women. Yes.  We do them both. We’ve gotten some excellent workouts in and it’s not cost us a dime. We love to save money and this is a great way to do it. So here’s the videos we did this week.

We started with this 20 minute low impact cardio workout.

Then we moved on to do a 25 minute dumbbell workout.

Followed that up with a 30 minute Cardio Kickboxing workout.

Next we did a cardio workout without weights.

And last we did 20 minute low impact cardio workout easy workout to burn calories.

The great thing about these workouts is that they take less than 30 minutes. We don’t have to get dressed and go anywhere and we do them together. So why not get your workout on without a gym and get fit! It’s easy and you can do it at home. Come back next week to see who we are working out with next! What do you do to get fit at home?

I love the idea of working out at home instead of the gym! For me, it would a lot more convenient and I could fit it into my schedule better! Love it!

I love that these options can be done in just 30 minutes. I just don’t have the time to devote to a longer fitness routine.

I’m such a slacker! I get bored with the same old thing, but this idea really might work for me! Thanks for the ideas!

Good for you for having the discipline to exercise with YouTube videos! Those look really really intense too – now I don’t have an excuse. 🙂 GREAT JOB ON THE WEIGHT LOSS BTW!!!

I haven’t ever been to a gym, but I love rotating through my DVD workouts. With 3 kiddos it’s the best I can do, and I usually can get them to join me.

I’m about to cancel my gym membership in October when my contract ends. There are so many free resources. I am going to use that money to save up for the long list of upcoming major life events I’ve got in the works!
