Ingredients
- insulated cookie sheet
Dry Ingredients
- 3 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
- 2 sticks cold unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 8 oz chocolate chips
Instructions
- Sift the dry ingredients into a bowl, Add the butter and the sugars to the bowl and mix just until blended. Scrape the sides of the bowl. Add the eggs one at a time and mix until combined. Add vanilla. Add flour mixture to the bowl and blend on low until the flour is barely combined. Scrape sides and bottom. Add chocolate chips. Mix on low until evenly combined. Drop by tablespoons on insulated baking sheet (or use parchment paper to keep from sticking). Bake cookies for 16-20 minutes at 350*. Rotate the cookie sheet halfway through. Transfer cookies onto a plate to cool and continue baking the rest of the cookies. This makes a bunch so you'll enjoy them for a few days. Store in an airtight container or bag for 3 days.
