How to Train Your Dragon 2 opens on Friday June 13! Check out my review! 

Let’s see what my kids thought about it. My 11 year old said, “it was awesome.” My 8 year old said, “I’m not sure what the moral of the story was. I like a story with a moral because then I get taught something.” She also said, “she enjoyed it too.”  We decided that “violence was not the answer” was the moral of the movie. Everyone had a good time and enjoyed our hour and a half movie. As parents my hubby and I laughed and enjoyed it too. I do sometimes wonder why they have to kill off a parent in almost all childrens movies. It seems rather macabre to me. Why? There’s some violence in it as a bad guy is trying to kill off all the dragons. But it’s not too dark for the younger set. It’s a great way to pass the time when it’s too hot to do anything else for sure. Go see it and let me know what you thought of it? Leave me a comment.
