I think the way to look at it is if someone from Asia were to come stay in my spare room it would be very exciting and authentic to them- it’s kind of like when go on vacation- I want to experience the real way of living, not some cold hotel!
Some of the best vacations we had were in bed and breakfasts in people’s homes. They know the best places to eat and the local places to visit
I’m sure staying in a home (versus a hotel) would really make things comfortable.
I love the idea of living like I am on vacation everyday. We have used Airbnb and had great results.
Who wouldn’t love living like they were on vacation everyday, I know I would. A couple of times a year some girls and I will rent an entire house for the weekend. It’s truly and amazing experience and I like the homey feel of it over a hotel.
Using sites like Airbnb is a great alternative when traveling and one I will keep in mind for future stays not just weekend getaways with the girls.
This looks like it could be fun!
Like Jenna says, Staying with me would certainly be authentic. Although to really be authentic, they would need to do a few jobs around the house! Cuz that’s the way we roll!
