Just go girl review, get your workout on! #ad

This post is sponsored by Role Mommy Writer’s Network. I was given the product and compensated for my time. This is my honest opinion of the product.

A few years back I was having an embarrassing problem. I would work out and then because of those darn cute babies I had I would have some bladder spasms. Ugh. I hated it so much. Not only was it embarrassing it was uncomfortable and it made me not want to work out. Did you know that 1 in 3 women have athletic incontinence? I had to find something to let me push through. I’m not sure these were available then but they are now and what a great product to have. I would totally get these and use them. Check out the video in this link on Just Go Girl.  you can also order some at the Just Go Girl site  for yourself to test out. They are discreet too and come in a small envelope so nobody knows what you are receiving.  Check out this picture of the actual item.

These are very discreet too. You won’t be able to tell in yoga pants or bike shorts that you’re wearing them. Great that no one else will know! Except all my readers…haha! I’ve done kegals and gotten off diet soda and am now able to work out without the bladder spasms. Thank goodness.

And meet the inventor. She saw a need and filled it. I love people like that! A mom entrepreneur who sees a problem and is able to find and market a solution is a great leader to follow. JustGoGirl was founded by Brooke Solis, a Yale-educated lawyer, inventor, fitness nut and mother of five. She launched JustGoGirl, based in Austin, Texas, at the start of 2014 to help women of all ages maintain their fitness goals without the risk of embarrassing leaks. The company’s JustGo Pad™, designed to be sleek and discreet, fits under even the tightest of workout clothes.

“OMGoodness…. I love your product! I completely forgot I was wearing it! There is a league scrimmage this Sunday. I will be sharing a few with a few of the gals I
mentioned previously. I’ll be ordering soon. Thanks again!”

“I am such a fan! Anyone that knows me knows that I am not shy about sharing my athletic leak challenge. I only wish this product was out when I was playing soccer with my husband. I used to bring a change of clothes for post-game chatter so that I could feel comfortable after an hour game. After becoming a crossfitter I would opt out of Double Under days because I did not want to deal with this issue, which held me back from mastering this movement. Recently I tried the JustGoGirl athletic pad and have been amazed. I won’t go to the gym without it. Thank you for creating this amazing product! Thank you for helping me be comfortable during my work outs. I PR my double unders quite often now!!”
– Denise B.
(Crossfit Gym Owner)

“I’ve taught Insanity since last April & I’ve never truly ‘enjoyed’ teaching until I was introduced to JustGoGirl. I can’t believe how much more at ease I am teaching and jumping. I’m actually getting the full effect of the workout with my mind more focused on the actual workout and not tensing and tightening with every jump. It’s awesome!!” – Katie M.
(Insanity and Group Fitness Instructor)

If you are like the one in three that are suffering from athletic incontinence then you need to check out Just Go Girl and see for yourself if it doesn’t change your workouts! What’s your favorite workout music when you are rocking a good workout? Leave me a comment and let me know.

  1. I don’t have that issue myself, but there are a few moms in my zumba class that complain about songs with jumps for that very reason!

  2. This is one reason I’m grateful to have had a C section! But mother is the necessity of invention, so I’m really glad she stepped up to the plate and invented these!

    • Brett Martin (@brettbmartin) says:

I have had 3 c sections!! My bladder has been affected- more by the weight of the babies bouncing on it (and punching it, we saw my oldest beating on my bladder in many ultrasounds). Gotta love leakage. LOL

  3. I can only imagine how having that problem would make you not want to work out at all! Glad that someone had the great idea to invent these.

  4. I had this problem after my daughter was born years ago.. not fun at all! I love seeing women take charge and create a solution for a common problem!

  5. Rachael says:

I need these! I can’t do jumping jacks or other jumping exercises without bladder leakage. And that’s bad because I am a fitness coach and personal trainer and don’t like having to modify when I am teaching.

  6. I hadn’t heard of these before. I could really use these.

  7. karenssunnysoirees says:

I don’t have this problem but hey who knows about down the road from now! The inventor’s story is interesting though. Good for her for making this product!

  8. I have never been so sorry for reading a blog post. Just too much information!

  9. Kayla @ TheEclecticElement says:

I think the best entrepreneurs are moms because they live life KNOWING what is needed to make their own every day jobs easier and kudos to those who go out and do something about it 🙂

  10. Really neat someone has thought this through and created a need product.

  11. Liz Mays says:

That kind of peace of mind is priceless. I’m all for the idea!

  12. Beth@FrugalFroggie says:

Since my kids were c-section, I have not had that problem. But if my sneezing doesn’t stop I may need these for sure.

  13. Amy Desrosiers says:

My favorite music to listen to when I work out is anything from 90’s rock scene.

  14. Debra Fazio-Rutt says:

Right after I gave birth to each of my kids I had a little issue like this – whenever I coughed, sneezed or reached up for anything…it was always a little embarrassing

  15. My favorite music to listen to when working out, or even just leaning, is rock.

  16. casavilorainteriors says:

I must have been living under a rock, because I really wasn’t aware of this problem, and so common too. I am glad that there is a solution for women who need it. I also like that a mom invented it

  17. sippycupmom says:

After 3 kids….I so need this! Passing on to my Mom too.

  18. I never thought such product exists! This is truly a helpful product and I’m sure that many women would appreciate it. 🙂

  19. I have four kids, so I can totally relate. I didn’t know there was a product out there specifically for it though!

  20. StacieinAtlanta says:

I’ve never seen this product. I do know plenty of moms that would be interested in something like this….I will pass it along.

  21. I haven’t had kids yet so don’t have this issue but its great to see someone noticed the issue and has found a solution

  22. Christie says:

You take bladder spasms in stride! They do look comfy and discreet

  23. Another reason that many women don’t work out after having babies! I like to listen to really horrible music when I work out – really cheesy stuff. It somehow makes me more eager to really work out (just yesterday, I listened to “Call Me Maybe” and went an extra five minutes!)

  24. krystal says:

I have never seen this product before! Thanks for sharing this one. IT might help people out!

  25. Maybe I could actually jump on the trampoline with my kids with these! I’ve heard of this but hadn’t tried it.

  26. I don’t have this problem when working out but after having my daughter if I get sick and have bad coughing fits then that is definitely me.

  27. The New Classy says:

What a great solution to a pretty common problem. I know many women who can benefit from these.

This seems like a great way to deal with the problem of athletic incontinence. I like how discrete the product is as well.
