3 romantic staycations for adults

What couple couldn’t use a little more romance in their lives? The problem with romantic nights and sexy getaways is that they can really cost a bundle, so if you are looking to save some money try a wonderfully romantic and affordable “adults only” staycation, like one of these!

Take a local tour

That little restaurant you used to eat at in college, or that ice cream parlor you went on for date number three, or that park where you proposed can all be wonderful stops along your own city tour. Pack snacks, drinks, a camera, and hit the pavement to relive all those moments that meant so much to your romantic story. While you’re at it add to the fun and visit some new places you may not  have known existed in your town. There is lots to see and do (often for free) if you just take the time to look for it.

Have a spa day

Pamper each other and have fun with an in-home spa and take-out. There’s no need to leave the comfort of your home (or your bath robe) and you can get in the much needed pampering. Plus, offering to massage one another can lead to some very romantic time, indeed! Put on some music, light some candles, break out the wine and lay down some flower petals and enjoy your day without going anywhere.

Cook all day

Breakfast in bed, a picnic lunch, dessert by the garden, and a candlelit dinner can all be great ways to celebrate your love for one another and cooking, but don’t just do one in a day- do them all! Cook up some fun for an entire day with your sweetheart in the kitchen. Make breakfast delights for one another, and then make lunch together. Plan a dessert you both love and cook a romantic dinner when the sun goes down to really get your appetites for food and love revved up.

Romantic Staycations are a great way to save money and have a good time with your spouse.

You don’t have to always go on vacation to have a good time. Save yourself the time and money and have quality time with your spouse from home. It can be fun as well as romantic. Enjoy your time together!
