I was not paid to write this review but I was given two nights stay at the resort to facilitate the writing of this review.

castle rock resort branson mo review

My Castle Rock Resort Review of Branson MO

My family and I drove out to Branson, Missouri over spring break. We are from Nashville and were very skeptical about going. How can it possibly be as good as Nashville. You know what? It was actually better. We stayed at the Castle Rock Resort and had so much fun at their water park. The kids loved being able to swim and slide every day. The pool opens in the morning at 10 am and is staffed with lots of life guards. There is plenty of space to spread out and get a table for your family.  I think they need a few more floats for summer. There was plenty for us while we were there but sometimes we had to walk other places to find them. Not a big deal at all to walk upstairs to the lazy river and find more though. The kiddie pool was a huge hit with the under 4 set. My kids were all about the regular pool, the lazy river and the slides. I went down both slides repeatedly and had as much fun as the kids. I even showed my son a new way to go down one of the slides. The rest of the weekend he went down the slide my way. Us old people still can teach those young whippersnappers a thing or two!  Here’s my video I made to show you the waterpark.

And a video of my son going down one of the slides. He loved it so!

And the video of the room that we had.

There is fun and shopping to be had at Castle Rock Resort Review of Branson MO.

We ate one meal at the on site Tower Grill. The food there was ok. I had a salad because we had been eating out all weekend and I needed something light on my tummy. My  kids had the chicken strips and fries and they ate them up. We had good service and a nice quiet time eating there.  I found the people who worked there very friendly. Whether it was the front desk, cleaning ladies, lifeguards, or the grill manager they were all helpful and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant and fun.

The resort is within 4 miles of everything we wanted to do. There’s an outlet mall close that we left a lot of our money behind at.  We got some great deals though. They had great prices. We found yummy family friendly restaurants within walking distance. Lots of shows within a quick driving distance too. We walked next door to play minature golf at the Pirates Cove. That was fun and nice that it was so close. If you’re going to be coming to Branson this is a great place to stay. Some links for you to follow and to make your reservation at Castle Rock Resort and Waterpark. Follow them on twitter and share a tweet with them or DM them if you’d like more info. Follow them on facebook for more info and great rates. The service was great and the fact that you are in close proximity to so many shows and shops make it a first choice to my family. Have you ever been to Branson?

Our family are long time visitors to Branson. We have never stayed at Castle Rock, however. I have a Branson travel blog.

I’ve never been to Branson, or Missouri. I always pictured it as rural with nothing to do. That building looks like a castle, is that for the name?
