One cookie recipe makes 3 different cookies

Sugar Cookies Recipe to make one recipe and 3 cookies

I was making cookies the other day. I wanted to do more than one recipe. This recipe makes a lot and would be great to use if you want to take cookies to something but want to make them different. I took a sugar cookie recipe and then made Sugar cookies, m&m cookies and whoopie pies with them. They are all so good. Check out the recipe I made below and make them yourself. Great for Easter.

Total Time
2 hr 26 min
Ingredients
  1. 2 1/4 cups sifted flour
  2. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  3. 1 tsp baking powder
  4. 1/2 tsp salt
  5. 1 tbs milk
  6. 3/4-1 cup butter
  7. 1 cup sugar
  8. 2 eggs
  9. 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients. Chill the dough for 2 hours (or like me 24). When I chill the dough I roll it into a roll and use cling wrap to keep the flavors from the fridge out. Cook on 375* for 9-11 minutes.
  2. Once cooked you can add sugar to the top for sugar cookies, m&m's to the top, or stick a peep in the middle and make a whoopie pie! Yum. All 3 made great cookies.

Sugar Cookie recipe can be turned into 3 total cookies.

Now just add m&m’s to make m&m cookies. Or add sugar to the top to leave them as sugar cookies. Or add a peep to the middle of two sugar cookies for a whoopie pie. We loved all three. Which one would be your favorite?

Oooh what a neat idea. The whoopie pie thing caught my eye because whoopie pies are my weakness. Although, I have been known to down a dozen cookies in one sitting, too 😉

Sugar cookies are my favorite. A lot of people think they are plain and boring but I think they are by far the best cookie out there. These look yummy. I need to re-vamp my current recipe.
