I made this yummy recipe the other day. I’m trying to find recipes I like that I will make for Super Bowl which is coming up on February 7. This one recipe was definitely a win. Here’s how simple it was. You would also use this recipe to make sausage balls you would just roll them up and put them on a baking dish instead. Either way they are so good and you will be so happy you made them! Check out my Sausage Ball Muffins recipe!
Sausage Ball Muffin Recipes
- one pound sausage
- 2 cups bisquick
- 8 oz cheddar cheese (I used extra sharp) shredded
- in a bowl combine bisquick, sausage and cheese. Do your best to constantly break up the uncooked sausage and get it completely coated in bisquick. Otherwise you have a crumbly mess. It took me about 5 minutes to get it all mixed together right. Cook on 350* until cooked through about 25-30 minutes.
Sausage Ball Muffins Recipe is just that easy!
Have you ever thought to make sausage balls into muffins instead? We loved them so much. You’re getting more bang for your hand! These sound yummy but I’ll skip the Bisquick and use a biscuit recipe. I’ll let you know how they turn out.

I love sausage balls! It says serves 6 so does that mean it makes only 6 muffins or would that be 12 muffns (@ 2 each — I’d have to have 2 myself! Lol!). Thanks!
Dina
It makes twelve total so 2 a piece! Definitely can’t eat just one! 🙂
