Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 Review

I was given tickets to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. This did not affect my review of this movie and this is my honest opinion. 

What can I say about this movie. It has a silly premise and yet even as a 40 something mom I enjoyed every minute of it. It kept my attention and made me laugh out loud quite a few times. I was shocked at how much I enjoyed it.  My daughter who is 7 really loved it. When asked her what she thought about it her simple words were “I loved it.” The ten year old and his 11 year old friend had a great time at it too. I dare say had the 16 year old been there even he would have enjoyed it and not been staring at his phone endlessly for hours. It is a simple, wholesome family movie.

Flint Lockwood now works at The Live Corp Company for his idol Chester V. But he’s forced to leave his post when he learns that his most infamous machine is still operational and is churning out menacing food-animal hybrids.
