Kool aid play dough recipe

My kids love play dough. They are getting older and they still love to play with it.  As I was thinking about all the items I tend to put in their Easter basket play dough was at the top of the list. Why not make your own? Making kool aid play dough is easy and makes a great addition to your child’s Easter basket. It’s also really simple to make, smells amazing and not expensive either. You need a few basic ingredients that you probably already have and a few you don’t. Here’s the recipe in my pictures.

kool aid play dough

flour, cream of tarter, salt, kool aid of your choice

Please ignore the fact that I forgot to snap a picture of the flour and the salt and just pretend it's there.

TaDa let it cool and you’re able to use it just like playdough only it smells better. The kool aid doesn’t stain your hands once it’s cooled.

My kids loved helping me make it and playing with it. It keeps best in the fridge after you’ve played with it. See below…
