Lemonade Pie~To Die For!
So, I’ve decided I’m going to name myself the good enough blogger. I almost never have every ingredient I need to make something and I’m constantly making do with what I have and still getting to eat what I wanted to make. Same story with my lemonade pies. I wanted to make something that would be a great addition to a St. Patrick’s day theme. You could even go so far as to color your Lemonade Pie green with food coloring. I didn’t because I’m just good enough and well to be honest I didn’t think about it until it was too late. Next time I will make it green too! LOL
Here’s the directions for the delectable Lemonade Pie.
2 small graham cracker pie crusts
1 can sweetened condensed milk (I used fat free because it’s what I had)
1 package of lemonade by kool aid added to 6 oz of water (can use frozen lemonade, my recipe called for frozen but this is what I had and made do with. It worked beautifully.)
1 can of crushed pineapple with juice
1 carton of cool whip
Lemonade added to water and stirred.
I opened my pie crusts and set aside. Added the milk, lemonade, crushed pineapple and mixed well. Then folded in the cool whip and poured into the 2 pie crusts. Put in the freezer for 2 hours and serve frozen.
Lemonade pie is the easiest and yummiest pie I’ve made in a long time.
It is one I will be making again. Try Lemonade Pie and let me know what you think!
