I was given the book Unjunk your Junk Food to do a review on. I love the easy way this book is set up. What it does is give you an item…say whipped topping. Then it will list what is a better item for your body to eat and use then the whipped topping. This is a great reference book that you could easily carry in your purse and pull out to use while you are at the grocery store. I am always trying to eat better. This book takes into account not just fat and calories. But if there are chemicals in the product that are not good for your body. Then it offers you alternatives that have less chemicals in them. There is one problem. I do love my whipped topping at my house. I have to admit. I’m kinda an addict. Sigh, I don’t believe they offer 12 steps for this addiction. But they do offer me a better product for my body. Here’s the book. Warning by clicking this link and purchasing it I may be able to buy a candy bar granola bar for my children to eat.
The book has big bold pictures and easy to read descriptions…even for old eyes like mine. It tells you which item in the product isn’t so good for you and why. Then on the opposite page it shows you the better option and why it is healthier for your body. If you are looking for something to guide you on your food purchasing journey, this book is a great one.
I was given this book from Naturally Savvy to review and was not compensated. It has my honest opinions in it and they may be different then yours. That’s what makes the world go round! 😛

That sounds like a great book. What a brilliant idea. I mean we always just grab the junk lol. It’s nice to have an alternative to look at!
