Did you know that there are ways to increase your chances in winning that penny auctions? Here are some simple things you can do to increase your chances at winning!
1. Study the site for 20 to 30 minutes. Try to spot the newbies and the pros. You want to bid against the newbies not the pros.
2. Pick a good username. prettyboy11 is not going to win an auction like the username “dontbidagainstme” or “auctionisclosed”. These usernames create a feeling of, “well, this guy knows what he’s doing and I won’t win against him.” That’s what you want because then they won’t bid!
3. Focus on one auction and dismiss the rest.
4. Pick a number that you will not bid over and stick with it. You will not get the item you want if you start a bidding war. So back off and let someone else have it. You wanted it at a certain price, not by overpaying for the auction.
These are small rules to keep in mind and help you win at the online penny auctions! Play to win!
