I love the convenience of buying bags of food and cooking it for my family. But  it’s not always cost effective or as good for you as making it yourself. So I began this weekend making my favorite foods for my family that I usually buy. It was so easy to make and so delicious. Check out my quick and easy breakfast idea and make it for your family!

Quick and easy breakfast ingredients

1 lb hot sausage

dozen eggs

1/2 yellow pepper

1/2 red pepper

1/2 onion

Cut up potatoes and put on baking sheet with parchment paper down. Set oven to 425*.  When ovens ready add potatoes and cook for 8 minutes, then rotate potatoes and cook 8 minutes more. If they look wet on top let them cook another 2-3 minutes.

While oven is heating cut up peppers and onions. To your pepper and onion pan add a tbs of oil. Cook until the onions become translucent (about 8 minutes) (make sure peppers were cooking during this 8 minutes time too). Then add sausage. Cook until sausage is no longer pink. Add 10 beaten eggs with 2 tbs of milk (that’s what I add to feed my family of 5).  I stand there and stir almost constantly. Cook until eggs are no longer runny. I add cheese when I can tell the eggs are about done. This took me no time and it was delicious and healthy for you! My family was happily eating this up!
