As a family we will enjoy watching the Rio 2016 Olympic Games this year. My girl and I are tuned in for the gymnastic events for sure. She had a love affair with gymnastics for four years. This is where she competed and was an amazing gymnast. Maybe I’m just a biased mom but I was constantly impressed with her pointed toes and perfect form. I miss her competing and simply going to the gym with our gymnastics family. It was a great 4 year ride. She stopped competing after falling and hurting her arm. She was doing great things on the uneven bars when she fell. It was a scary time for her. She healed fine and all is well.

Her and I still love to watch gymnastics together as a sport. We’ll be watching Gabby Douglas as she competes this year for Team USA. She’s our favorite since we watched her movie on lifetime a few years back. This was back when we were in the throes of loving and competing in gymnastics. So this was right up her alley. Gabby has a very inspiring story. Go Team USA.

Another way we can help support Team USA is to shop at Walmart for certain P&G items. I am in love with my new Venus Swirl razor.
The Venus Swirl actually helps capture what other razors may miss. It is designed with FLEXIBALL™ and five individually adjusting Contour™ blades to glide over curves for flawless skin, long-lasting smoothness, and virtually no missed hairs. I need this. My other razor was having too many misses…where I’d find hairs. Bleh. The Venus Swirl also has a water-activated MoistureGlide™ serum for incredible glide and a sleek handle with enhanced grip. This I love! So make sure you head over to Walmart to pick up some P&G items for an everyday low price to continue to support Team USA. Shopping at Walmart, which we did yesterday, helps me stay on target with my budget each week too.

My daughter’s love of the sport fuels our watching the Summer Olympics this year. Will you be watching? What’s your favorite sport to watch as a family?
