5 ways to give yourself a memorable mom’s day off! #ad @crocs #momsdayoffcontest

reading in the shade

I’m partnering with Crocs to bring you moms a much needed Mom’s Day Off!

If you had a day where you could focus on you what would you do? There’s so many things that I wouldn’t do! I wouldn’t stress over or look at work. I wouldn’t cook. I wouldn’t clean. I wouldn’t paint or work on my fixer upper that we’re trying so hard to finish.
Here’s what I did do on my Mom’s Day off!

having fun with my fur babies

The first thing I did was go outside and play with my fur babies. We just hung out in the backyard and enjoyed the beautiful day we were given.

reading in the shade

While I was outside with my dogs I took the time to read a great book. This is one of those books I couldn’t put down and will probably read again. I love good stories from great storytellers. Check out my cute Crocs!

lunch out with my bestie

After such a relaxing morning I went and had lunch with my bestie. She saves my week so many days. I always have a great time with her. She’s funny and caring and she’s the person I want to be with if I don’t have plans with my family. Love drinking margaritas and eating tacos with her. We do that about once a week (twice if I can sneak it in)!

got my toes done with my bff

Super Cute Crocs and a nice pedicure too!

After we had a nice, relaxing lunch we headed out together to get our toes done. I love to get my toes done with her. We laugh and giggle and destress just by sharing our lives. We don’t splurge on ourselves often but when we do we know we deserve it. Being a mom is the best job in the world but it is a hard job too. I love my kids and my family. But we work, cook, clean and take care of making sure everyone gets where they need to be on time. So having a day where I didn’t have to be responsible for any of that made for a truly amazing day. I felt relaxed and rejuvenated to my soul.

having a dinner out with the family

I ended this day out in the most relaxing way. We had a great dinner out that night with my family. I love eating with my family and being with them makes me even more thankful that I got a mom’s day off. They are my reason I do what I do all day every day.
