If there’s one thing I love about Christmas it’s baking. I love to bake the family’s favorites and my kids look forward to it too every year. It’s our tradition and my daughter has already been planning our baking. She plans for us to make gluten free peanut butter cookies for Santa! Well this weekend I went all out. I made my famous fudge recipe. It’s so simple and so good! Check out the recipe below.
- sugar
- evaporated milk
- butter
- salt
- mini marshmellows
- semi sweet chocolate chips
- Combine 1.5 c granulated sugar with 2/3 c of evaporated milk, 2 tbs butter and 1/4 tsp salt in medium saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil and boil over medium heat, stirring constantly for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add in 2 c marshmellows, 1.5 c chocolate chips and stir furiously for 1 minute or until all marshmellows are melted. Refrigerate for 3 hours or until firm. Cut into 24 pieces and serve. Enjoy!
- I love fudge and this is the first recipe that set up correctly the first time I made it!
