Wine Bottle Crafts
I love to reuse and repurpose things I have around my house. My friend Cyndi helped me out by giving me a few wine bottles to get crafty with. I had some but needed a few different types. Reduce, reuse, recycle and save money too.
Need a new craft for all those wine bottles you have lying around?
Make sure you take a sip or two as you make these simple and easy to do wine bottle crafts. First step is to get the wine labels off. I soaked mine in water for about 20 minutes and some came right off and others did not. Sip. Next for the ones that won’t come off you may need an adhesive remover to get the rest off. This is where my hubby saved the day. Sip. Then I wanted one that would be sorta white. So I put paint in what I thought was a clear bottle (turns out it had a greenish cast to it…who knew!). Shook the bottle up a few hundred times kind of like the shake weight. Side note…Do my arms look skinnier? Sip. Then I took just a black marker and made a face on the bottle of booze. Did the same for the pretty green bottle and added a black sock to make a witchy like hat. Sip.
This was a fun and simple to do wine bottle craft!
You too can craft like a 9 year old! I love that the ghost wine bottle does double duty! Ghost on one side and Boos bottle on the other. Got any other cute ideas I could do with wine bottles? Let me know in a comment and I may just make a new wine bottle craft. Sip! Happy crafting.
I would love to hear some of your favorite Halloween recipes and crafts. Leave them for me in a comment! Have a safe and happy Halloween!

I think I could pull these off, even though I’m craft challenged. It’s fun to see that the bottle was a different color when you put paint in it.

I have a few empties down in the basement. We’ll have to try and do something fun with them.

Had I started making Ghosts with empty wine bottles I would have had quite a “Haunted House” by now! LOL
Great idea!

I wish my brain worked this way. I am so amazed at what people can take an everyday piece of ‘trash’ and make it into art. Wish I had that talent.

This is such a cute idea. A friend of mine made reindeer out of some beer bottles. I would image you could use wine bottles too.

What a great and crafty idea! I wanted to fill some wine bottles up with coloured sand but this is something the kids can help with, I like it!

I didn’t think about wine bottle crafts. I have more beer bottles than wine bottles. Anything with a brown beer bottle?

Making things with bottles is so fun. One of the most thoughtful housewarming gifts I received was a wine bottle filled with lights that I could plug in!

I’ve seen a lot of halloween crafts that use jars and other things, but green wine bottles really are perfect for this.
